Galvanized steel coil – is continuously hot-dipped galvanized steel products which are available in a variety of widths, gauges and mechanical grades. The products are particularly suited to applications where the corrosion resistance of zinc and the high strength to weight ratio of steel is required. The performance of galvanized products will be determined by zinc coating thickness and the environment in which it is used. In a light duty environment lower zinc coating- Z60 60 g/m²-can be considered appropriate for selected applications. However in more corrosive environments the heavy duties zinc coating- Z600 600 g/m²-should be used.
